Setting up in ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market)
Abu Dhabi Global Market is the capital's international financial centre, inaugurated in 2015 and covering Al Maryah Island and, since late 2023, Al Reem Island. It is a separate jurisdiction that applies English common law directly, with its own Registration Authority, its own financial regulator (the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, FSRA) and its own courts. That structure draws asset managers, private equity and venture funds, fintechs, banks, family offices and professional firms. Non-financial businesses can also register, and the Al Reem expansion has brought in many everyday commercial companies. Grade A offices in ADGM Square and business centres are part of the offer.
