Setting up in DIFC
The Dubai International Financial Centre was established in 2004 and is the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. It is a separate jurisdiction with an English common law framework, its own courts, and an independent financial regulator, the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Banks, asset managers, insurers and wealth firms form its core, but the centre also has a large innovation hub for fintech and AI companies, a Family Wealth Centre for family businesses, and room for non-financial firms, retail and dining. Its 110-acre district includes Gate Village and Gate Avenue.
