Setting up in DUQE Free Zone
DUQE is one of Dubai's newer free zones and certainly its most distinctive address: it is based aboard the QE2, the famous former cruise liner now permanently moored at Mina Rashid. Launched in 2022 in association with Dubai's Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), it targets start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses. Its activity list spans consultancy, marketing and advertising, events, e-commerce, general trading, logistics, creative production and real estate brokerage. The on-board business centre provides workspace, and DUQE bundles add-on services such as accounting, VAT registration and help with bank account opening. Mina Rashid is close to central Dubai and the airport.
